📌 The ECLIPSES are the most important events this August, of course (which always come in pairs):
- SOLAR (Total): Wed, Aug/12 at 13:36pm (25:48 Cancer in Ashlesha Nakshatra)
- LUNAR (Partial): Fri, Aug/28 at 00:18am (10:40 Aquarius in Shatabhisha Nakshatra)

Eclipses are considered INAUSPICIOUS events when the DARK ENERGIES come through at a higher volume than usual, because the two brightest objects in the sky (our Luminaries: the SUN and the MOON) are COVERED BY SHADOWS (RAHU OR KETU).

📌 We have another PLANETARY WAR involving MERCURY and JUPITER this time:
- Aug/14 - 15 (from 14:47 - 17:02 Cancer) *(1-deg orb)
- Exact Conjunction of ME + JU is on Saturday morning (Aug/15) at 15:55 Cancer.
Lie low and avoid engaging in any conflicts (the resolution will not be favorable to anyone involved). Also, don't commence anything important-to-you that you want to last a long time in your life. Generally, take it easy and actively cultivate equilibrium & peace. (This is especially important if you are in a Mercury or Jupiter Dashaa!)
📌 MERCURY will also be COMBUST (again!) this month:
- Aug/20 - Sep/4 (26:00 Can - 25:00 Leo) *(with a 7-deg orb consideration; longer, if you take a wider orb for Mercury)
- Exact Conjunction of SU + ME: mid-day on Aug/27 (10:13 Leo)
Combust Planets are highly FRUSTRATED, having a hard time "getting over themselves" and expressing their energies smoothly. You can think of them as having a "studder."
📌 We have two Planets in GANDANTA this month (last 3:20 of Cancer + first 3:20 of Leo). This event is considered inauspicious for resolving difficult challenges, so I recommend lowering your expectations and taking it one day at a time, especially if you are in a Sun or a Mercury Dashaa (Life-Cycle).
- SUN Gandanta: Aug/13 - 20
- MERCURY Gandanta: Aug/20 - 23
📌 MERCURY is in CANCER: Aug/5 - 22. Even though it's a Friendly-to-Him Sign, Mercury doesn't like being in Water Signs, where it feels MUTED and would rather communicate telepathically than verbalize His thoughts out-loud. So, make an active effort to express yourself to be understood and received properly, rather than expect others to make the first step towards mutual understanding.

- Punarvasu (JU): Jun/11
- Pushya (SA): Aug/7
- Ashlesha (ME): Aug/15

📌 VENUS is DEBILITATED (aka in VIRGO) the entirety of August (Aug/1 - Sep/2).
Do NOT get married when Venus is afflicted. In fact, it's best to postpone any romantic activities until September and focus on channeling love through art or couples' therapy of any kind. Also, if you are ruled by Venus or are in a Venus Dashaa (Lif-Cycle), you might feel more LOW than usual. "Debilitated" is called "Neecha" in Sanskrit, which means "Low."
VENUS in NAKSHATRAS:
- U. Phalguni (SU): Jul/28 - Aug/10
- Hasta (MO): Aug/10 - 25
- Chitra (MA): Aug/25 - Sep/11

📌 SATURN Stationed on July/26 (at 20:31 Pisces) and is now officially RETROGRADE for 4.5 months, slowly-slowly picking up speed, until Dec/10, when it will Station again (at 13:41 Pisces) to go Direct until August of next year, switching Signs in June.
SATURN remains in REVATI Nakshatra (ME-ruled) until Oct/9, crawling backwards through the star-spangled sky into Uttara Bhadrapada (SA-ruled), where it will remain until Feb/7.
SATURN in NAKSHATRAS:
- Revati (ME): May/17 - Oct/9
- U. Bhadrapada (SA): Oct/9/2026 - Feb/7/2027

📌 JUPITER is still EXALTED (aka in CANCER) all the way through October/31. Yay!!

JUPITER's COMBUSTION [by the Sun] is OVER on August/7 (withing the classical 7-degree orb). Combustion is an affliction for a Planet, so its end is a welcome reprieve for all of us who are either Jupiter-ruled or running a Jupiter Dashaa (Life-Cycle).
JUPITER in NAKSHATRAS:
- Pushya (SA): Jun/18 - Aug/18
- Ashlesha (ME): Aug/18 - Oct/31

📌 MARS is in GEMINI (his ENEMY sign) Aug/2 - Sep/18, after which He will be debilitated for a couple of months. *(More about that in September's newsletter.)

MARS will be exactly conjunct BETELGEUSE (the Marker Star for ARDRA Nakshatra) on Aug/9-10. Both indicate a potential for VIOLENCE, especially due to some unfair treatment, ready to pounce and chop off the head of the demon. Try to stay out of trouble.

- Mrigashira (MA): Jul/23 - Aug/12
- Ardra (RA): Aug/12 - Sep/2
- Punarvasu (JU): Sep/2 - 23

📌 SUN exits Cancer and enters LEO (its Own sign) on Aug/16, remaining there till Sep/16, as he does every year.

📌 MOON:

📌 MERCURY is RETROGRADE most of the month (Jun/29 - July/23).
- Additionally, Mercury will be COMBUST for a 1.5 weeks (July/8-17) (longer if you take a wider than 7-deg-orb). Combust Planets become FRUSTRATED when they try to express themselves (through us) externally, but their internal qualities are heightened, albeit hidden from sight (hard-to-prove). So, if you are running a Mercury Period or are Mercury-ruled (Gemini or Virgo rising), amend your expectations and focus on the process rather than a result, cultivating patience and self-awareness.
- CAZIMI is the positive part of Combustion, when the Planet's significations fully merge and shine through the Sun's rays. This month, Mercury's Cazimi will be July/12-13 (*1-deg orb). *Refer to the Visual Transits Calendar, above, for exact conjunction degrees and times, etc.
- The favorable part about this Retrograde-Combust Mercury is that, on July/7, he will go back into its Own Sign of GEMINI, where he will feel a lot more AT EASE than in the Sign of Cancer, where he feels "mute" and "drowning in the ocean of overwhelming and hard-to-put-into-words emotions." He will remain in Gemini until Aug/5 (first Retrograde, then Direct after July/23).
📌 Another Planet that'll be COMBUST this month is JUPITER, July/19-Aug/7 (*with 7-deg orb calculation).
- Jupiter's CAZIMI event (*1-deg orb) will be July/28-30.
- Combust Jupiter is not so bad when he is in Cancer, because he is EXALTED there, and the Sun is in his Great-Friend Sign. So, don't worry about this one. :)
📌 SATURN also goes RETROGRADE this month. For 4.5 months Saturn will be Retro in Pisces (Jul/26-Dec/10).
- If you are running a Saturn Dashaa (Life-Cycle) or are Saturn-ruled (Capricorn or Aquarius rising), it might be difficult to feel "alive" or full of energy around Saturn's STATION on July/26. Take it easy, don't plan to accomplish much, and don't be hard on yourself, if you feel like you are STALLING or somewhat "useless." It's temporary and will pass in a few days, when Saturn slowly starts to move and pick up speed. I don't recommend planning any vigorous or ambitious activities on the Planetary Stations days, because you might feel like you are "dragging" and won't go very far. :)
📌 MARS will be in TAURUS the entirety of July. It's a neutral-to-him Sign (Venus-ruled), so it does okay there.
- However, July/2-5, MARS will be exactly CONJUNCT URANUS in KRITTIKA Nakshatra ruled by the Lord of War, Kartikeya (plus exactly trine Pluto, and sextile Neptune), which is a hard-to-handle energy while remaining calm and at peace! If you are running a Mars Dashaa or are Mars-ruled (Aries or Scorpio rising), you will feel more RESTLESS than usual, which can often feel like you are physically jumping out of your skin and need to MOVE YOUR BODY! Please STAY SAFE and try to NOT DO ANYTHING DANGEROUS. It's concerning to me that the exact conjunction happens on July 4th (Independance Day in the U.S.), when people gather in large groups and do fireworks (!). No doubt, there will be more than the usual amount of ACCIDENTS and VIOLENCE. Please choose to channel this powerful energy PRODUCTIVELY rather than DESTRUCTIVELY, but do channel it (because it won't let you rest and ignore it). Any physical activity with EXERTION will do the trick.
📌 VENUS will be in LEO most of July, where it can get quite fiery and sexy (especially in Purva Phalguni). If you want to do some sort of a romantic get-away, do it in July rather than in August, because it will be Debilitated all of next month. *(I'll write more about it next month.)
📌 SUN leaves Gemini and enters CANCER on July/16, where it will remain until Aug/16, as it does every year.

June 2026 Shenanigans

📌 The sign of [Sidereal] CANCER has the vast majority of Shenanigans, this June 2026. CAPRICORN is also affected, because it's the sign opposite Cancer, (all Planets in these two signs always aspect onto each other).
📌 June is mostly full of blessings, as JUPITER finally goes into its EXALTATION Sign of Cancer for a year -- until June/25/2027 (with a 3-month dip into Leo: Nov, Dec, Jan)!!!

📌 This Exalted Jupiter will also be joined by 2 other Benefics twice this month, bringing extra juicy Grace to any of you who have major placements in Cancer or in Capricorn:
- JU + VE + MO in Cancer: Jun/17 - 18
- JU + VE + ME in Cancer: Jun/22 - Jul/4
These are the times auspicious to start new projects, ventures, purchases, weddings, etc., because things started at that time will be endowed with extra blessings for years to come *(all things held equal, considering the limitations of your own chart, and what's rising at your location).

📌 One SPOILER we have this month: another PLANETARY WAR -- this time, between JUPITER and VENUS, (who are inching towards each other right now, visible in the evening sky, right after sunset on the western horizon):
- Jun/8 - 10 (happening between 00:20 - 2:45 deg Cancer).
It's best to avoid doing anything life-changing or important-to-you during this time, especially if you have natal placement around those degrees in Cancer or Capricorn. Don't start companies, get married, move into new homes, and avoid getting into arguments. Just wait it out and try not to take things so personally.
📌 Another interesting / rare event happens on Jun/17:
- PLUTO (at 10:53 Capricorn) will exactly oppose MOON and VENUS, both exactly conjunct at 10:53 Cancer at the same time!!
This SEXY THREESOME will surely ignite A LOT of PASSION, demanding out-of-this-world INTENSITY and "I belong to you, you belong to me!" kind of affairs reminiscent of the "Fatal Attraction" storyline. Be careful not to get into potential sex-scandals or into some heated "I must be right!" or "I have to have them!" debates and interactions, especially if you have significant placement around those degrees.
📌 At the end of the month, MERCURY goes RETROGRADE for almost 4 weeks: June/29 - July/23.
- June/29 - Mercury STATIONS Retro (at 2:01 Cancer).
- July/23 - Mercury STATIONS Direct (at 22:05 Gemini).
Things can get lots in translation when Mercury is Retro: communications can be thwarted, interrupted, misdirected, or misunderstood, requiring REPETITION for the sake of clarity. Also, electronics tend to go haywire a bit more than usual. So, try to have patience and do your due-diligence, having back-up plans.
📌 RAHU moves out of Shatabhisha and into DHANISHTHA Nakshatra (Mars - ruled) on June/30. It will remain there until April/21/2027. Rahu generally does well in this Star, creating new avenues for wealth-making and promotion. However, if you are running a Rahu Dashaa (Life-Cycle) and Mars is your AvaYogi, this transit will contribute to a depression in financial abundance for you.
📌 MARS leaves its Own sign of Aries and moves into TAURUS on June/20, staying there through all of July (until Aug/2).
Mars usually does okay in Taurus, but here it will be conjunct URANUS, so RESTLESSNESS, INSTABILITY, ACCIDENTS, ANGER ERRUPTIONS, URGES (sexual, physical, emotional), and INFLAMMATORY "JUMPING THE GUN" behavior based on the need to RELEASE BUILT-UP ENERGY will predominate this transit -- for everyone in the world, but especially for those people and countries (yes, countries also have birth-charts!) who have placements in Taurus and Scorpio.
📌 SUN moves into GEMINI on June/15 (remaining there until July/16), another sign where it does very well, ruled by its Great Friend, Mercury!
July will be a complicated month....

📌 MAY/14 is a major SANDHI day, when THREE Planets SWITCH SIGNS (Sun, Venus, Mercury)!! Please do NOT start anything important on that day. It's not advantageous to commence life-altering events when Planets are at ZERO DEGREES (they are WEAK, INDECISIVE, and UNSUPPORTIVE there).

📌 JUPITER spends its FINAL MONTH in GEMINI before moving to its sign of exaltation, Cancer, on Jun/1. It will spend there an entire year, as always, (with a 3-month interruption in Leo, Nov-Jan). Woohoo!! We need the help, please!!
📌 MARS enters its OWN Sign of ARIES on May/11, where it will be in-Dignity until June/20. A POWERFUL MARS is a DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD (sometimes literally), but nonetheless can be extremely PRODUCTIVE, especially if you have placements in Aries, where it will bring EXTRA SHAKTI to SEIZE THE DAY!! Just keep in mind that the LAST WEEK OF MAY, there are some strange + intense energies affecting Mars (namely Ketu, UpaKetu, and Pluto), so please take precautions, stay safe and grounded in goodness.
📌 PLUTO goes STATIONARY on May/6 (at 11:16 Capricorn) to start its RETROGRADE motion until Oct/15 (when it stations again to then go Direct, at 8:50 Capricorn). This is very intense if you have nearby placements in Capricorn or Cancer (anywhere between 7 and 13 degrees)! Hang in there!! >_<
📌 SUN moves into TAURUS on May/14 (until Jun/15), finishing its yearly transit of Aries (where it gets Exalted). Sun still does very well in Taurus, though.
📌 MERCURY will be COMBUST for two weeks (longer, if you take a wider than 7-degree orb): May/8 - May/20.
>> Within that combustion, MERCURY will be CAZIMI (1-deg orb) May/13-15, being exactly conjunct the Sun at 29:34 Aries on Thursday, May/14.
>> On May/29, MERCURY goes into its OWN Sign of GEMINI until Jun/22, where it will be COMFY-CUSHY, finally out of Sun's Combustion, and conjunct its benefic great friend, Venus, for a portion of it! A much-needed REPRIEVE!!
📌 VENUS moves into GEMINI on May/14, a Great-Friend Sign (until Jun/9), leaving its Own Sign of Taurus.
Venus will be conjunct Jupiter in Gemini until Jun/1, when Jupiter moves.
📌 SATURN is slowly making its way through the middle of PISCES. SATURN leaves its own Nakshatra of Uttara Bhadrapada and ENTERS REVATI (Mercury-ruled) on May/17, remaining there until Oct/9, when it will Retrograde back into U.B. until Feb/7/2027.

How to Use These Visual Transits Calendars
You can simply start by meditatively checking in with the Planets every morning (or the evening before) and seeing what energies are playing out that day, affecting the world and you.
You can also be more technical and go into a deeper interpretive approach:

1) The Planetary Life-Cycle (Dashaa) Lord you are currently running (Major Period + Sub-Period Lords).
​
2) The Star-Lord of the Planet whose Life-Cycle you are now running (the Lord of the Nakshatra your Dashaa Lord occupies).
3) Your Ascendant Lord (Lagna Lord, i.e., Ruler of your Rising Sign).
TRACK THE MOVEMENT of each of the above identified Planets:

a) its current condition in the sky +
b) its relation to your natal fixed chart (Houses + Cusps + Planets).
